The month of December was full of many Christmas activities! The first graders practiced daily for the annual 1st Grade Christmas program and performed for their parents and families on December 17th. They did a fantastic job and everyone enjoyed the Christmas songs and hearing their sweet voices! Santa visited on December 19 and all students visited with him and told him what they wanted for Christmas. Christmas parties were celebrated on December 20th, and then everyone was released for the much anticipated break! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Gobble, gobble, gobble...November Activities 2013
November has been full of lots of activities revolving around pumpkins and Thanksgiving. Here are just a few of the things we have been working on this fall.
The Disguised Turkeys were an at home project and were very creative! The pumpkin patch pumpkin and poems were done in class. I downloaded the project from the internet several years ago and I do not remember what site, but I have enjoyed doing this with the students each year.

Wild About....2013-14 Students!
Students in my class are showcased on the WILD ABOUT bulletin board for a week in the room, then a week in the hallway. It's a fun way to learn more about our classmates and it's a special time for the Wild About student to share stories and tell us more about themselves. It's neat to see all the creative posters!
