Swimming Away to Second Grade!

Wow! It is so hard to believe that the 2010-11 school year has ended!  It was a great school year filled with fun and learning!  Besides gaining much knowledge this year, the students became friends and we all became one big, happy family!  We had a memorable year and I am going to miss this group of great kids!  Have a great summer and best wishes in second grade!

Last 6 Weeks Academic Pep Rally

Seymour Elementary held the 6th 6 Weeks Academic Pep Rally on the last day of school, May 26.  Students received awards for Perfect Attendance, Panther Pride, PE Awards, and DQ Super Reading Awards.  Next year's school theme will Rocking Around the Clock at Seymour Elementary.

Baylor Co. Library Tour

The first graders were treated to a visit to the Baylor Co. Library in April.  Librarian Lita Slaggle told the students about the summer reading program which will begin in June.  All students are encouraged to read this summer and the Baylor Co. Library is the perfect place to check out books and have fun!
