Seymour Elementary held the 1st Six weeks Academic Pep Rally on October 13, 2011. The theme was "Fired Up!" First graders performed three short songs about fire prevention, "Never, Never Play with Matches," "Stop, Drop, and Roll," and "Five Little Firemen." Awards were given for Perfect Attendance for the six weeks, DQ Reader Award, and Panther Pride Awards.
